Birds Cause Rain!

See the title? I know what you're thinking... No, it's not literally...
One night, my mom and i went to Jasema Enterprise at Taman Tun Dr Ismail... My mom parked her car under the row of tall trees. So, when we returned home, we found about 13 bird droppings on the car! I really pity my maid who had to wash it the next day...

Inter-Class Drama Competition 2009

It was an exciting day, we started practicing at 9. 30am and ended an hour later. We had lunch, the girls did their hair, while us guys played football, chess and so on... 1. 10pm we carried our props down to the sports center. After the first performance by 2B1, it was our turn. Everything went well until the lighting problems. The lights synchronization was too slow which cost us some time. so we had to skip scene 10 which will have our marks deducted. All in all, we had a great day, and we might have a chance of winning.

Great job 2A1ians!

A HELL of a time!

24th October - 6pm - Me and Tristan were lining up at the entrance of Sunway Lagoon Theme Park. - 7pm - They finally let us in. We ran to the surf beach and we were the first people who paid RM88 to reach the beach! There was so much space! - 9pm - Nadia and Hunny Madu from FlyFM came on stage as emcees and introduced a local singer Nikki. After 2 songs, the crowd was begging for AKON! But they called upon Caprice! The crowd booed! But his performance was great, he even sang Hotel Room Service. - 9:30pm - Finally, AKON came out! First he sang 3 unknown songs before making the crowd go wild with Don't Matter! During Sexy Chick, he was shirtless! And he jumped into the crowd 7 times! When the concert was at its peak, he sang Sweetest Girl and told the crowd to carry him to the back of the audience! But he didn't reach us... He sang all his hit songs including Smack That, Dangerous, Bartender, Just Dance, What You Got, Beautiful and loads more! It was a HELL of a CONCERT! Not to mention, he said words like @$$, b!tch and f**k which was hard to miss when he sang I Wanna F**k You... You should really regret if you weren't there!

How? Why?

Someone dear to us CHSians has left us... She was a wonderful, caring and kind teacher. Although i wasn't taught by her, i wished i was. Many do not know the reason of her departure, but, i have reasons to think she suffered from cancer. By the way, she is the one and only Madam Doreen. Rest in Peace! Our beloved Mdm. Doreen!

Kanye vs Taylor

I'm sure everybody knows what happened at the 2009 Mtv Video Music Awards in New York. Taylor Swift went on stage to accept her 'moonman' (astronaut-shaped trophy), then while giving her speech, Kanye West (the arrogant guy who sang 'heartless') snatched the microphone from her and said: 'Taylor, I'm very happy for you, but Beyonce had the best video of all time! The best videos of all time!' And he left Taylor on stage with her mouth wide open... humiliated...

What a jerk! (no offence) his arrogant ego was so big he can't even stand other people not winning an award, let alone himself! I say he has no respect for other people at all!

Well, now I feel kinda better, after releasing all the anger and discomfort... I can sleep better now... =)

I DONT KNOW
I DON'T WANT TO KNOW
I WANT IT TO SURPRISE ME =)

New Found Fame!

In the past 2 months, we have heard a whole bunch of songs from unknown singers...

JEREMIHDef Jam’s latest sensation, Jeremih, was born with rhythm pulsing through his veins. Growing up on Chicago’s infamous Southside, the 21 year-old singer/songwriter behind the nationwide breakout hit “Birthday Sex” started making big noise when he was just a little boy. “When I was three my mom and dad gave me a drum set for Christmas,” recalls Jeremih. “It was a little Sears set and I ended up busting every head on it that year. That’s when it hit them and me that I was really into percussion. At a very young age I really fell in love with making music.”

KRISTINA DEBARGEWhile still in her early teens, Kristinia DeBarge, daughter of '80s R&B vocalist James DeBarge, caught the attention of Island record heads thanks to her strong performance on the 2003 season of the television show AMERICAN JUNIORS, a spin-off of the popular AMERICAN IDOL series. DeBarge’s full-length debut, a beguiling mix of vocal pyrotechnics wed to unabashedly bubblegum arrangements, did not appear until the summer of 2009. The album’s lead- off single, “Goodbye,” was a sly reworking of Steam’s ubiquitous 1969 hit “(Na Na Hey Hey) Kiss Him Goodbye.”

Manchester United vs FC Seoul

After a fantastic game of football, Manchester United managed a win the same score as Malaysia when playing against Seoul. 3-2 was the score. 2 goals by their forward, Denjan (I think) which is also the same as Malaysia, 2 goals by Amri Yayah!

My Life Is Crazy!

My life can be sorted out into many sections. This story is about the hand phone section of my life...

It all started with my first phone, a Sony Ericsson T290i, which is 'cacat' to you readers. My dad got the phone for free through some contest.

4 years later, my dad bought my mom a new phone, so her older phone became mine, a Nokia phone (also 'cacat').

2 weeks after my birthday this year, my good friend Jay Vern bought me a much better phone, a Sony Ericsson K770i, and i was ecstatic!

The next month, my brother got his first phone, which is my mom's very old phone. Less than 2 months later, on his birthday, Jay Vern got him my DREAM phone! The Sony Ericsson C902i! It was unbelievable! I am so happy, jealous and disappointed all at once!

So this is how it is...
His FIRST PHONE is BETTER than my FIRST PHONE,
His SECOND PHONE is BETTER than my THIRD PHONE!

OH MY GOD!!! T_T

The moral of this story is...
1) Life sucks!
2) Life is 100% UNFAIR!!!

Wasted...

After managing to go into the CHS Idol finals, our lead singer had a competition so me and Yuen Foong had to sing alone (without Guan Hong)... Thus, resulted in an embarrassing performance in front of the whole school!

Rehab

Rehab ---- Rihanna

Baby baby

When we first met I never felt something so strong

You were like my lover and my best friend

All wrapped in one with a ribbon on it

And all of a sudden you went and left

I didn't know how to follow

It's like a shock that spun me around

And now my heart's dead

I feel so empty and hollow

And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to you

You don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do you?

It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back

And you're the one to blame

And now I feel like....oh!

You're the reason why I'm thinking

I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more

I guess that's what I get for wishful thinking

Should've never let you enter my door

Next time you wanna go on and leave

I should just let you go on and do it

'Cause now I'm using like I bleed

It's like I checked into rehab

And baby, you're my disease

It's like I checked into rehab

And baby, you're my disease

I gotta check into rehab

'Cause baby you're my disease

I gotta check into rehab

'Cause baby you're my disease

Damn, ain't it crazy when you're love slams

You'd do anything for the one you love

'Cause anytime that you needed me

I'd be there

It's like you were my favorite drug

The only problem is that you was using me

In a different way than I was using you

But now that I know it's not meant to be

I gotta go, I gotta wean myself off of you

And I'll never give myself to another the way I gave it to you

You don't even recognize the ways you hurt me, do you?

It's gonna take a miracle to bring me back

And you're the one to blame

'Cause now I feel like....oh!

You're the reason why I'm thinking

I don't wanna smoke on these cigarettes no more

I guess that's what I get for wishful thinking

Should've never let you enter my door

Next time you wanna go on and leave

I should just let you go on and do it

'Cause now I'm using like I bleed

It's like I checked into rehab

And baby, you're my disease

It's like I checked into rehab

And baby, you're my disease

I gotta check into rehab

'Cause baby you're my disease

I gotta check into rehab

'Cause baby you're my disease

Now ladies gimme that...

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohohoh, oh, oh, ohh

Now gimme that...

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohohoh, oh, oh, ohh

My ladies gimme that...

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohohoh, oh, oh, ohh

Now gimme that...

Oh, oh, oh, oh, ohohoh, oh, oh, ohh

Oh! You're the reason why I'm thinking

Jennifer Hudson

Jennifer Hudson brings a deep love for singing that started during her formative years in Chicago. "My first influence was my grandmother (Julia Kate Hudson) and my earliest memory of singing publicly was at seven when I sang my first solo in church," Jennifer recalls.

"Then, four years later I sang at my great-grandmother's 90th birthday and the members of my family were like, 'she doesn't sound like a little girl!' I didn't realize what I could do. Before that I used to walk around the house imitating Brandy and groups like Xscape and Jade. But Whitney was always there from when I was a child. I used to create my own little duets with her on I Will Always Love You, Jennifer recalls."

Inevitably, Jennifer found herself in local talent contests and she became known as the "school singer" during her teens. Her innate ability to feel a song was further enhanced by listening to singers like Aretha Franklin, Patti Labelle and she notes, "Especially Gladys Knight. I realized that a song has to be something I can feel for me to be able to sing it rather than sing at it. How am I gonna move you if I'm not moved by the song I'm singing?"

Jennifer's first professional role came with a local production of the musical Big River when she was nineteen. In 2002, she landed a job with the Disney Wonder cruise ship, showcasing her four-octave vocal range before thousands of vacationers.

But it was her exposure during the third season of TV's American Idol in 2004 that introduced Jennifer Hudson to a nation duly impressed with her potent soulfulness. It took a couple of songs for Jennifer to make it in the pre-show auditions.

"I flew to Atlanta, slept in the big Georgia Dome and the first time I had to sing while others were auditioning too. They wanted an original song but I didn't have one so I did this kinda obscure song, This Empty Place that I first heard performed by Cissy Houston. Then, the judges wanted to hear something they knew so I did Celine Dion's Power of Love and then Survivor by Destiny's Child."

The rest is history. After Idol, Jennifer auditioned for the part of Effie in Dreamgirls, beat out thousands of contenders for the coveted role and went on to win an Oscar. "Sure, it was overwhelming but in a good way," she reveals. "I knew all along I was going to sing for a living, that I was being prepared for something. So far, my career has been full of surprises and blessings, back to back," she smiles.

Now comes her all-important first album - "I'm so fortunate to have an audience from Idol and from Dreamgirls - all ages, kids, grandmothers, gay, straight, and all races. People may think they know what to expect from me but I want to show them I'm more than just a one-trick pony when it comes to music!"

Beyonce

According to Beyonce, "SASHA FIERCE is kind of the opposite, she's more the other side because sometimes you don't want to think; sometimes you just want to feel good. She's the party girl, she's Bootylicious. She is but I'm not. She's my alter ego. I'm finally revealing who I am."

The lead-in track on the SASHA FIERCE disc is Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Beyonce's scorching anthem of personal empowerment. "That song is all about: 'I've been with you all this time, you're taking too long and now I''m looking hot and you see it and you gotta suffer because you shoulda put a ring on it,'" Beyonce explains. "In my life, when I put on the stilettos, it's all about being confident, sometimes overly confident, and hearing all the things that women need to hear to boost themselves and go out and to move on."

SASHA FIERCE is fun. There's an up-tempo song called Radio that basically talks about my childhood. It just seems like a feel-good record but when you really listen to the lyrics, it's about me growing up. In my household, I didn't go to all of the parties and I didn't do all the things that a lot of the other teenage girls did because I was so in love with my radio and my music. I was so in love with this radio and my parents were happy that I was into something positive.

I try to make up-tempo records that feel good but underneath they're still saying something. SASHA FIERCE is a collection of the kinds of songs that I''m usually known for and I love just as much as the more intimate side of me."

Beyonce's SASHA FIERCE records include Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It), Radio, Diva, Sweet Dreams, and Video Phone.

Producers and writers collaborating with Beyonce on I AM... SASHA FIERCE include Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, Stargate, C. "Tricky" Stewart & Terius "The Dream" Nash, Rodney "DarkChild" Jerkins, Sean "The Pen" Garrett, Solange, Jim Jonsin, Rico Love and Ryan Tedder.

I AM... SASHA FIERCE is Executive Produced by Beyonce Knowles and Mathew Knowles for Music World Productions, Inc.

There's only two types of people in the world

Spotlight on me and I'm ready to break

Better be ready
Hope that you feel the same

All eyes on me I'm in the center of the ring

First Day Of School BLUES...

First day smirst day....(i don't quite know what it means though...) Evil Yeo nominated me for class AJK... ended up being Ketua Kebersihan...Gonna haunt him forever...

Anyways, the first day of school was like last year, except for the whole ice-breaking thing we did not do this year... I having the worst post ever strolled around the school and found nothing much, except for some mobile-toilets... Why? Cos the school is finally maintaining the toilets for the first time since the school was founded! Since 1956, the school's toilets has been every students nightmare all these years! Well I'm glad about the toilet thing for now, so lets just put the pass behind us and move on!

Good Luck to all! (except for Evil Yeo...)=)

TRANFORMERS: RISE OF THE FALLEN

Director Michael Bay is leaking out tons of false information, so chances are nobody will really know what it's going to be until it comes out. However, while nothing is confirmed, both Michael Bay and producer Steven Spielberg said in interviews that, if they ever made a sequel to "Transformers", they would make a big-screen adaptation of the Unicron Saga, since they feel it's the most logical plot for a sequel as it spans nearly every form of Transfomers media (the original series, the newer cartoon and the comic books). Rumour has it that Megatron will return and that there are two new Transformers - the Decepticon Soundwave and an ancient transformer known as The Fallen (reportedly a disciple of Unicron). ----Premieres 26 June 09

David Archuleta

After his classic performance of And I Am Telling You I'm Not Going for American Idol season 1 contestants, he then tried out for Star Search. The show didn't contact him the first season, but during the 2nd season, asked David to submit videos of him singing the Smokey Robinson/Jackson 5 song Who's Lovin' You and Billy Gilman's One Voice.

This time he was invited to compete on the show and appeared on three episodes in early 2003, winning the Junior category. A year later, he was invited back to compete against other winners. But this second run on Star Search was more difficult. David had been ill for a few months with appendicitis and bronchitis. Several weeks into his second Star Search experience, the Archuletas realized something was definitely wrong with David's voice.

A renowned ENT doctor in Beverly Hills diagnosed David with vocal paralysis and said the only options were either surgery or vocal therapy. They tried the latter, and after a frustrating couple of years of time and patience with the vocal therapy, the efforts worked and David was able to regain his ability to sing with confidence and endurance.

David continued to watch American Idol and thought about auditioning, but didn't believe he was "good enough." It was a moot point, because he was too young to try out. In the summer of 2007, at the tender age of 16, he was finally old enough, and his friends and family urged him to audition. He had to quit his job as a techie at a local amphitheater in Murray, Utah, and almost didn't go to try out because he was looking forward to this summer job.

Ultimately, David and his father went to the San Diego auditions. During the first round, while auditioning with other people, the producers dismissed the entire row and David walked away. "I'd been waiting in line for two days, and in 30 seconds it was all over," he says. "Then I heard someone say, 'Wait, come back.' I didn't think they were talking to me, so I kept going. And they said it again, 'Wait! Come back here!' I turned around and they said, 'You''re through.' It was such a shock!"

The rest, as they say, is history. Simon, Randy and Paula sent David to Hollywood, where he made it into the top 24, then the top 12, and after never being in the bottom three, into the spectacular season finale.

Now David has had three songs debut at once on The Billboard Hot 100, is getting ready to tour the United States this summer as part of the American Idols Live! tour and is already recording his first album. Unforgettable moments? There are many more to come, for this is just the beginning of a long, successful career for the talented teen who captured the imagination of over 30 million American Idol viewers.

Singapore!....again.....

One year after my school's graduation trip to Singapore, I see myself in the Lion City again. It was a better trip than when the school brought me last year, but the school trip was still better not because of the places we went but the time I've spent with my old friends.

A three days two nights stay at the Marriott Hotel right on Orchard Road was the best part. The shopping and the beautiful decorations were just a stone throw away from the hotel.

David Cook may have gotten his first taste of fame thanks to Simon, Paula, and Randy, but his musical ambitions began long before he appeared in front of their judging table.
Born in Houston, Cook was raised in Blue Springs, Missouri, he began singing in second grade and performed in his school's musical theater productions, but Cook found that rock and roll was more his style when he picked up a guitar at age 13. He formed his first band, Axium, at 15, though his attention was split between music and sports. "I thought I wanted to be a pro baseball player, but my fastball wasn't fast enough and I couldn't hit to save my life," he says. "Performing was the only thing I ever felt I was great at."
During his senior year of college at Central Missouri State, Cook recorded a solo CD called Analog Heart, which sold well regionally. In 2006, after obtaining a degree in graphic arts, Cook had to decide whether he wanted to be a musician or a graphic designer. "I gave myself every opportunity not to do music," he says, "but it was always there. I couldn't ignore it."
He moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, and was in the early stages of recording his second album when his younger brother Andrew asked Cook to accompany him to Omaha and lend moral support while he tried out for American Idol. Andrew didn't make the cut, but he encouraged a very reluctant David to try out. "He threatened to beat my ass if I didn't, so it's entirely his fault that all this happened to me," Cook says with a smile.
One week after being declared the winner with a record-breaking 56 percent of the nearly 100 million votes cast, Cook rewrote chart history when 11 of his songs debuted on Billboard's Hot 100 chart - the highest number of new entries in a single week by an artist since the Beatles in 1964. Topping the list was The Time of My Life, which debuted at No. 3, making it the highest new entry on the Hot 100 of 2008.
In July, Cook hit the road with his fellow Idol contestants for the American Idols Live! Tour, which visited more than 40 cities across the U.S. - an experience he cites as extremely valuable. "Being able to make a 16,000-seat arena feel intimate is one of the trickiest things to pull off," he says. "If you can get the people in the nosebleed seats to feel as though they're getting the same show as the people sitting front and center, then you're doing something amazing. That's always going to be my goal."
It shouldn't be too tough given that Cook will be performing the songs on his debut album. Gutsy and epic, but grounded in the personal, the songs are tailor-made for those magical moments when music, whether it be uplifting or heart-breaking, can transport you to another place, which is exactly what Cook intended.
"I want my album to be an exhausting experience, in that you listen to it and have to take a breath to collect yourself, and immediately need to listen to it all over again," he says. "I want people to hear it and feel like they just ran a 5K marathon."

Pet Society...

In Facebook > Applications > Pet Society is a game like having your own pet except it is much much much much (i can say this all day) much different and for some it is childish whereas for those who don't have pets, it is kinda the other way round.

To me, Pet Society is not that bad, and not that good either. It can be fun in the beginning but sooner or later you will give up on it.

If you wanna try the game you must have a Facebook account first. So, do try it and see what happens later then...

Bored...

Very surprisingly, I'm starting to feel bored staying at home this school holidays. There's nothing much to do at home. The computer is boring, my PSP is boring and my Gameboys is even more boring! There aren't any Form 2 books the read from since we now borrow books from the government...

Today, like any typical day, I wake up and lie down again to think of what to do for the rest of the day. Since I already have my squash training in the evening, I only think of what to do before that. My old friends gathering was cancelled today which only made things worst. There isn't anything to look forward to anymore (other than my trip to Singapore in December).

Do you have anything you can recommend me to read or something to do? Please help me...

In line with the global economic outlook as well as global fuel prices, manufacturers have been downsizing their car and the new City makes a perfect compact sedan in the Honda line-up slotted in under the Civic for world markets. It is considered to be a world car now, as it has also been recently revealed that the City will also be sold in Europe. Look after the jump for an in-depth look at the new City.

New songs or old songs?

New is better than old... Obviously... New is like modern music whereas old is like ancient and only has a limited genre... New is still the best, it varies in genres...

Mix FM is better than any other radio stations in Malaysia, it has both old AND new songs!

Mix FM is 10 times better than any other radio stations like Lite FM, Hitz.FM, Hot FM and ofcourse Fly FM and XFresh FM. It has all the old AND new songs! Lite FM plays only old songs which are boring... And the others play new songs only which is also boring but not as bad as Lite FM!
